Kymani Marley Delivers Exciting Performance In Negril

Kymani Marley, Andy Livingston and Timmi Burrell deliver exciting performances in Negril.

Patrons who attended One Love Reggae Concert Winter Series show at Negril Escape on Tuesday November 23rd had a wonderful time, as they were treated to some very exciting performances.

Headline act Kymani Marley appeared on stage about 11:10 PM, clad in a white T shirt and blue jeans much to the delight of the audience, which was mostly made up of tourist.

From the moment he opened his mouth it was pure Marley magic, as he entertained the audience with original numbers such as Dear Dad, The March, Armed and Dangerous and Warriors. He also did several of his legendary father’s timeless classics including Concrete Jungle, I Shot the Sherriff and Johnny Was A Good Man.

Earlier on the opening acts were also well received. Timmi Burrell who is based in Negril was the first of the opening acts to perform. Performing songs such as Give Me A Ounce, Chill and Hold A Vibes, Make Doh (Hustle) and Dark Shades White Tee, the silky smoothed voice singer connected well with the audience.

He was followed by fast rising reggae crooner Andy Livingston who poured out his heart for the ladies in the, crowd as delivered love songs such as Love Ain’t Enough, My Promise and Searching For Love. He also delivered cultural numbers Good People and Jam Dung.

G-Whizz For Barbados Independence Concert


Kingston, Jamaica -- November 26, 2010 Singer G-Whizz heads to Barbados this weekend for a charity concert in aid of the victims of a deadly Tudor Street fire. The fire which claimed the lives of six persons in September aroused the ire and pity of thousands, as a result, a charity concert was arranged.

It was however postponed because of the death of the nation's Prime Minister, David Thompson. The concert will now be held at Club Extreme as an Independence affair on November 30.

G-Whizz who is known for his stellar hit, Life, and more recently Feel It, Live Life And Love It, Weekend Anthem, Night Or Day and more, says, "Though we went the first time and it was postponed, I was still extremely willing to go back for the event.

It's for a worthy cause and something as tragic as that deserves any sort of support I can lend and I want to use my music to motivate and comfort people through their problems."

Tifa And Digicel Strengthen Partnership


Dancehall artist Latifa Brown aka TIFA, has inked a new endorsement deal with telecommunications provider Digicel which will see the artiste acting in the capacity of brand ambassador for the leading telecommunications company in the Caribbean.

Tifa has already begun to make good on her contract as she has been touring the island and performing on Digicel’s numerous Christmas promotional road shows, the latest being Digicel’s ‘Loaded Christmas’ road show.

The vivacious energetic female has also appeared on television and radio ads for Digicel and according to the artiste, the synergy is expected to bear fruit for both parties.

“I am overwhelmed at the opportunity to be one of Digicel’s brand ambassadors; this will definitely provide the push and publicity I need to further my career and what better way to get that exposure then to be with the biggest telecommunications company there is, Digicel.”

As one of dancehall’s hottest females Tifa celebrates a birthday in December and says she will be doing some partying especially with her favourite drink Nouvo.
