T.O.K Back From US Tour


Kingston, Jamaica -- Dancehall entertainers, T.O.K have returned from their promotional tour of the US South Coast, where they received a tidal wave of positive feedback.

The group which left the island two weeks ago turned the musical heat up at a number of clubs including Club Lux in Orlando, Club Levels in Melbourne and Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale.

According to group member, Flexx, "I's great. We've been getting crazy positive feedback on all the shows, great turn out plus the fans are loving the new singles we performed like In This Club and Bubble. We could feel the love from the fans and ladies, especially. A perfect way to kick-start a very successful 2011."

In addition to the shows, T.O.K. has been busy recording a slew of singles, some of which have already been released, while others are expected to hit the airwaves in a few weeks. Among the new releases are: Christmas Mix CD entitled Money Christmas, So Fresh/Swag Wine for which a video will be filmed and released soon, the single, Money Christmas on the Table For Table Riddim produced by Romeich Major.

T.O.K. returned to the island earlier this week and is scheduled for performances in Canada and Zimbabwe next month.

Chino Releases More Singles Ahead of Album


Kingston, Jamaica -- Dancehall artiste, Chino, has released a cluster of new singles ahead of his March 2011 US album.

The artiste who has been busy in the studio, occupied doing interviews and engaged with local and international performances says, pulling a balancing act has been difficult but necessary.

Among his new singles are: Good Ole Days on ZJ Chrome's Dancehall Efx Riddim, Grapevine on Stephen 'Di Genius' McGregor's Championship Riddim, No Stylin' on the Smoking Riddim, Number 1 on the Street Swag Riddim, Tek Whe Gal on the Winnings Riddim and more.

"As an artiste I always try to remember that Jamaica isn't equivalent to the world, so I'm always recording and trying new things. Each market and country attracts a different vibe, so I try to make my catalogue as extensive as possible, but still very well put together," said Chino who was recently labeled as an artiste to watch by the Barbados Advocate's youth paper, HELLO! Magazine.

Chino's upcoming album will be distributed through the VP Records label.

Romain Virgo Begins European Tour


Kingston, Jamaica -- Singer Romain Virgo has left the island to embark on what will be his first solo European tour.

Virgo, who left the island on Wednesday is also expected to release a video for his recent single, Taking You Home on Donovan Germain's Big Stage Riddim, next week. Virgo, who also recently returned to the island after his one month US tour alongside Capleton and Munga Honorable, is excited about his first solo European stint.

"It's going to be a different vibe holding down shows in Europe on my own, but I'm ready for it. I've been putting in a lot of work, and the fans are excited about what I have to offer, so that's what I focus on, doing great performances instead of being nervous," he said.

When Virgo returns to the island fans can look out for the singer who is known for his hits Can't Sleep, Wanna Go Home, Love Doctor, Who Feels It Knows It and more, on shows including GT Taylor's Christmas Xtravaganza and others.
