Andy Livingston Realizing ‘Promise’ with Breakthrough Single

Reggae artiste and music producer Andy Livingston is feeling good with the musical surge his career has experienced in recent times.

The baritone singer, who launched his music career back in 1995, has enjoyed a successful 2010 after the release of his single My Promise, which was produced by him and Carl Morrison on the Black Dutch record label, and released early last year.

The reggae crooner is also gearing up for the release of his latest single One, which he has claimed to be another hit-in-the-making. This song was produced by him and Herbie Harris, who’s a member of legendary reggae group Third World.“Mi a tell yuh it ago mash up di streets,” said Livingston, in reference to the song.

2010 has been the best year by far for Andy Livingston as a recording artiste, as the single My Promise captivated audiences worldwide, especially during his two-half-months European tour early in the year. That year, he also released his debut 16-tracks and 1-poem album titled ‘High’, which was again produced by himself, Carl Morrison and Herbie Harris.

The singer is very confident that his newest project One will give him an extra boost in his quest for musical dominance, and referred his beliefs to the fact that renowned music label VP Records been showing great interests in the single already.

The singer also said he’s currently working on several other new projects, and is fully focused on improving his music career.

Spanner Banner’s Musical Journey a Continuous Work of Art

Veteran reggae artiste Spanner Banner has conceded that the release of his most recent album ‘I’m A Winner’, in 2009, have somewhat revived his career into new dimensions. The baritone singer also said that he’ll be releasing the album’s title track I’m A Winner and a video shortly.

He may not command as much public attention like the current crop of young artiste, but Spanner Banner is still in his element as one of reggae music front runners. He made his entry into the music biz back in the 1980’s with Life Goes On, produced by Winston Riley, and hasn’t looked back since.

Now, after a relatively quiet stint Spanner Banner, whose brothers Richie Spice, Pliers, Snatcha Lion and Jah Mikes are all involved in music, revealed that he has a number of upcoming projects and also addressed the issue of his absence in music.

“Well, I wouldn’t say that I was fully (absent). In January I did Rebel Salute and I’m scheduled for several upcoming events, but it’s just airplay that I’m finding problems with,” he said.

The singer, whose career spans over two decades, has also recently signed a booking contract with Entertainment Konnections, which is a Negril-based company own and operated by Ralston Barrett, a recognized personality in the local music industry.

Spanner Banner also said he’s very optimistic about this decision, and has already vision himself being overloaded with show engagements in the near future.

“I can see endless possibilities. I’m already looking for more shows in the Caribbean and elsewhere. I have all the trust in this. That’s what you get working with Ralston Barrett, who also happens to be my publicist,” he added.

Spanner Banner also lamented that 2010 has been an okay year, but is very confident that the coming year will be of great benefit to his music career.
