Sharpe Is Addicted To Music

“My love for music is undying, I am passionate about music, let’s just say I’m addicted to it.” That’s how BBK Entertainment recording artiste Sharpe describes his affinity for music. Sharpe, who is also a talented soccer player harbored dreams of going pro after leaving college, but abandoned such ideas in order to pursue his greater passion which is music.

He recorded his first song in 2006, soon after he began performing on events in places such as New York, Atlanta and Canada. Sharpe has also performed as an opening act for several reggae stars including Sanchez, Capleton and Mr. Vegas. He said this experience has helped to prepare him for future success in the music business, as he has learned a lot by observing the work ethic of these artistes.

“I have been blessed with several opportunities to open for big acts such as Capleton, Sanchez and Mr. Vegas, and I have learned a lot by watching these artistes. Their work ethic is incredible, they put so much energy into their performances, it’s just inspiring to watch the joy they bring to the audience every time they hit the stage,” said Sharpe.

Sharpe is currently working on his soon to be released debut album entitled All or Nothing. According to him this album is going to take music fans on a joy ride as they will be able to play his CD from start to finish without skipping a track.

The Florida based singer said his music is fresh, melodious and very lyrical.

“My music is fresh, full of vibes and very lyrical. It has a lot of different flavors Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop it’s all there. I don’t put myself in a box when I am making music; I like to challenge myself to make music for everyone.

Sharpe’s latest single Money Right, is currently enjoying good rotation on several radio stations across the United States.

Sharpe will be in the island later this summer to promote his music and do several performances.

The artiste who recently released his latest track called Jamming Till a Morning which was produced by Steven ‘Lenky’ Marsden, has had successes on both radio and TV.
