Ce'Cile - Singing This Song‏

“Jamaicanization”. The Jamaican describes a woman with “Singing this song” who will not have the love she feels towards her husband disrupted/destroyed by anything or anyone. Love rules in Jamaican! After Ce ́Cile paid homage to the DJs and soundmen of the world with “Step Aside”, it is now time to address the real global issues.

Men, women, relationships, love and animosities. Probably everyone has heard that when everything is going really well in a relationship other people suddenly attempt to interfere with this “young bliss”.

Whether it is envy or simply a certain new sexual attractiveness due to the fact the man is spoken for and thus represents a challenge for certain sections of the female world is neither here nor there.

The song describes a woman who clearly tells the people: Hey, this is my husband, and he loves me and no matter what you do and try to do, he will stay with me because he loves me! Power of love, Jamaican Style!

The hook is a real catchy song as soon as you hear it and the music wonʼt let you stand still in these summer months. Due to the retro sounding offbeat synthesizer sounds coupled with the awesome base that chimes in following the intro part, this song is really suitable for playing in clubs, provided the 18” bass speakers have already been warmed up and the system has enough reserves.

The bass and the remaining musical substructure was put together by the Cologne-based star producer Ben Bazzazian (including “It no pretty”, “Got to go”). The cabriolet faction will be equally pleased at how the Radio DJs now again have another reason to present a reggae song from Jamaica in the summer months ...... that ́s why Ce ́Cile is “SINGING THIS SONG”!
