Tony Anthony Scores In Italy With "Living It Up"‏

Canada’s top Reggae singer Tony Anthony continues to make serious strides on the international reggae scene. He is currently sitting in the number one position on the Italian Top 20 Reggae Singles Chart with a song titled Living It Up which is a remake of the 2003 smash hit Frenzy, which was originally recorded by Sanchez.

Living It Up is a collaborative effort between Tony Anthony and German based clothing company Jah Army Highwear. Since its release over a month ago as a free download on the Reality Shock label, it has been receiving much attention in Europe and has become especially popular in Italy where has gotten strong rotation from top reggae radio jocks including Gusma T.

Tony Anthony is also making waves down under with another single titled Bad News Again. The track which was released as single off his award winning album Million Chance is currently number 10 on the Jamdown Vershun 92.1 FM Reggae Top Ten Chart in Australia.

Tony Anthony is currently busy working several new studio projects with top flight reggae producer Kemar Flava McGregor. The first of these projects will be released before the end of the summer in the form of a five song EP.

ZJ Liquid Scores With Wife Material

Popular radio personality turned recording artiste ZJ Liquid is very upbeat about his recording career and quite rightly so. The Montego Bay native who has been working very hard to establish himself as recording artiste on the local music scene for quite some time now, has attained much success in the local music industry in recent times.

He scored his first major hit last year with the Seanizzle produced Wifey Walk Out. Encouraged by its success Liquid has recorded a slew of songs for several other top producers that have also registered heavily with dancehall fans both at home and abroad.

ZJ Liquid whose real name is Michael Brissett, is currently enjoy much attention with his latest hit single Wife Material on Washroom Entertainment’s hot Matrimony rhythm. Since its release has become one of the most played songs over the airwaves and is very popular in the dancehall.

Shocking Murray Pleased With Support For His New Music Video

His latest music video is receiving lots of positive reactions both at home and abroad and that’s exactly what Shocking Murray was aiming for when he shot the video which was done in support of his hard hitting single titled Johny.

The Portland native who currently resides in Switzerland says that he really wanted this music video to get the right support from television stations. “When I did this video I did it with the youths in mind, because I want to show them that gangster living and criminal activities don’t pay. So I am very pleased that it’s getting the desired support,” said Shocking Murray.

The music video was shot at various locations across Portland and St. Mary and depicts a very sad tale of a young man who turns to a life of crime from an early age, resulting in him being hunted and corned by the police.

Since its release over a month ago it has been receiving strong rotation locally on television stations including HYPE TV, CVM Plus and RETV. Shocking Murray is currently travelling across Europe promoting his latest album, Troddin which released in May by the German label MKWZO.
