Spice Ready For More Fun After Great Sumfest

After an impressive Sumfest performance last week Thursday night, Spice is ready to deliver more fun to her fans, in the form of her birthday party which will be staged on August 13. The dancehall diva who took the Sumfest stage by storm in a futuristic ensemble lined with glass reflectors, and completed with a large blue afro, says she is happy about the feedback she has received about the performance.
"I have always stepped outside the box with my performances, both when it comes to lyrics and to stage wear.

When I go to any concert especially ones of Sumfest's magnitude fans can always look for Spice bringing something extra special and that's what I did with this year's outfit. My idea of entertainment is giving the fans something they can look at and a performance they will always remember - that's always my mindset going into a show," said Spice.

The artiste who is known for Ramping Shop alongside Vybz Kartel, Slim vs. Fluffy, Jim Screechie and more recently Fun featuring Missy Elliott, also called international singer, Mya to the stage to perform their new single Take Him Out.

Immediately after Sumfest, Spice again switched gears and is now focusing on her upcoming birthday party which will be staged at Waves Beach. Spice says, "It's going to be a beach party and it will be a lot of fun.

To be truthful, people should just come out and expect the unexpected. Lady Saw, Beenie Man will be performing and there will be lots of surprises in store for them and I really want to spill it all, but I can't. They really just have to come on out and see what I have in store for them."

Romeich Launches Dream Weekend Wear

Producer, designer and restaurateur, Romeich, took the Sumfest stage by storm. Not in the traditional way most may expect, but with his designs. The designer whipped up an appealing and trendy array of designs for most of the reggae/dancehall artistes on this year's festival. Among them were: Elephant Man, Mavado, Konshens, Beenie Man, Kiprich, Laden and more. In addition to entertainers, Romeich was also the sole designer for a number of corporate sponsors, including: the Jamaica Tourist Board, Digicel and others.

Romeich who came to the fore a few years ago as a designer, says he has managed to accumulate an enviable client list consisting of the 'who's who' in both the corporate and entertainment spheres because of his creativity, eye for detail and dedication to excellence. "I always try to be someone my clients can rely on, despite a time-frame or style.

My team and I always try to deliver great customer service and style to Romeich Wear clients and that is what I think gives us an edge. I am a firm believer in delivering style, quality and customer service to people," said Romeich. His formula for success has also landed him a contract for the upcoming staging of Dream Weekend. "For that weekend I'll be doing exclusive Romeich Dream Wear for the parties, their promoters, the sponsors and so on."

He also says, cricketer and friend Chris Gayle will be sporting exclusive Romeich Dream Wear. "That is going to be something for people to look out for. That's a man who loves fashion and will go out of the box with it and we definitely went out of the box for his Dream Weekend clothes. So a mad ting when them see him," he laughed.

Romeich who is known for the Armagiddion, Grace and Gratitude, Table Fi Table and Bank Ina Pocket riddims, says after the hectic holiday season passes, his focus will be on releasing even more hit rhythms for patrons to enjoy.
