Vernon Maytone Drops New Album

[Montreal, Canada] Vernon Maytone belongs to the eraof musicians that took over reggae music in the 1970s.

He started the legendary duo called The Maytones in 1968 with his next door neighbour Gladstone Grant. Since the release of the "Foundation Compilation" in 2010 Vernon Maytone has been working on his solo album entitled "Words Of Wisdom".

The album was released this past June with an outstanding response from his fans worldwide. It comes as no surprise for the veteran artist continues delivering his fans a collection of songs that reminds us of the same quality music released from The "Mighty" Maytones back in the 70's.

For the new album Vernon Maytone teamed Not Easy At All Productions from Amsterdam, Holland. He also released "Foundation Compilation - Reggae Series Volume One" with the same production company just last year. Two tracks from the compilation album, "War" and and the combination with U-Roy called "God Is Real", were also chosen to be on his new Album "Words of Wisdom".

One of the songs making a strong impact, and that is on many peoples playlists right now is the song titles "More Love". The song is one of Vernon Maytones favorites as well. He explains that it has that perfect roots sound, where he spreads a positive message talking about one and stronger love. Another song to pay attention to on the album is "Never Get Away" The song focuses on the "wicked" people you will come across in your life and try to bring you down. The song talks a lot of truth to which many people can relate.

Overall the album focuses on positivity and has at least one song everyone can relate to. You can find this album on I-Tunes and several other online stores such as amazon and more. Stay tuned to Vernon Maytone for more amazing music being released and a album tour which is currently in the works.
