Spice Ready For Hot Patty Wine Face-Off

Dancehall artiste Spice, is ready to shake things up with her Hot Patty Wine dance competition. The competition which will begin on Sunday, September 25 and ends on Friday, September 30 will make stops at a number of Kingston's hottest events in hopes of finding the best 'hot patty wine' dancer.

The parties include: Bounty Sundays at the Village Cafe, Barbican Road (September 25), Money Mondays at Club Impulse, New Kingston (September 26), Boasy Tuesdays (September 27), Weddy Weddy Wednesdays (September 28), Gi Wey Wednesdays (September 28) and Hamma Fridays (September 30).

Female competitors at each event will face off, and the winning female dancer with the best interpretation of the 'Hot Patty Wine' dance will walk away with enviable cash prizes courtesy of the dancehall diva Spice.

The Afrocentric Hot Patty Wine single, produced by Spice's management team, Movers and Shakers, was released a few weeks ago, while the video which was directed by ace-stylist and creative guru, Dexter Pottinger, was released two weeks ago.

Spice says, "When it was released, fans were pleasantly surprised. I think they loved that the concept was different and very unexpected. The beat itself has an African vibe and then we followed through with the concept for the video in terms of the styling for the entire cast. So right now Hot Patty Wine is the single that I'm focusing on.

The Hot Patty Wine dance competition is another way for female fans to really learn the dance and also have that whole fun element in the parties with wining contests between the ladies. So we wil be going around to all these events and having fun with the fans and of course giving away a lot of cash and other prizes."
