Singing Melody featured on MSN's Windows Media Guide


When Singing Melody, and his label SHEM Music / Fat Eyes (distributed by VP Records) released the single “Collide,” they knew they had something special on their hands. All music markets immediately replied with the same feedback which was to add the song to rotation. Melody and team add another accomplishment with the artists feature on MSN's Windows Media Guide today, Tuesday October 25th.

One of the first Reggae artists to be featured on the service, Melody’s song “Collide” will be front and centre on the popular site where fans from all backgrounds will learn more about Mr. Melody, and will hear his music for the first time. “We are really excited about this opportunity” said Ruby, President of Shem Music Group. “Artists like BeyoncĂ©, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez and Justin Bieber have all been featured, so Melody being a part of that is just exciting for us!”

Singing Melody being featured on MSN Media Guide builds on the momentum created with the release of his music video for the song “Collide” which has received a record 9,000 plus views in its first week of release. The video, directed by Asha McHail for Far Eye Films is a hit with the public.

When asked about how he feels to be featured on MSN, Mr. Melody replied “I am really, really excited! This is an opportunity for more people to know my music in all corners of the world!”

Singing Melody’s lead single “Collide” is taken from his album They Call Me Mr. Melody which will be released on January 17th, 2012. The song is currently enjoying rotation in, The US, The UK, Jamaica and the Caribbean as well as Europe and Africa.

Reggae Artist Snatcha Changes His Style‏


Fast rising reggae artiste Ritchel Bonner aka Snatcha is making huge strides in the music business as he continues to reach for greatness. Snatcha who is the youngest member the famed Bonner Brothers which also includes his reggae star brothers Richie Spice, Spanner Banner and Pliers of Chaka Demus and Pliers fame, is working very hard to emulate and even surpass the success of his older brothers. To date he has compiled an impressive catalogue of radio hits including Living Aint Easy and Creation, but he is hungry for greater success.

“I am working very hard to establish myself in the music business, from day one my mission has always been to make a name for myself and be a good example to the youths. Right now I am on the path to achieve these goals, because my career is going in the right direction, everywhere I go in the world when I tour with Richie Spice the people know my name and my music. Right now all I need to do is to continue to work hard to achieve my goals.

In a bid to achieve greater commercial success the talented artist who began his career as a deejay has changed his focus, as most of his new material features him utilizing a singjay style. Snatcha said the move is a deliberate one and one that he hopes will win him more fans both at home and abroad.

“I started out in the business in as a deejay but I have decided to change my style in order to appeal to a wider audience. As an artist you have to be versatile and since Jah bless with the talent to deejay and sing I am using both of them to get my message across to the people.

Snatcha is currently promoting his latest single titled Ego which was produced by veteran producer Philip ‘Fattis’ Burrell for his Exterminator label. The song was released a few weeks ago and has been getting very strong support from several popular radio DJs locally including IRIE FM’s Elise Kelly.

“My fans love the vibes I bring across on Ego, this song is getting a lot of buzz on radio and in the streets right now. From the look of things Ego is going to be a very big tune, I can feel it, everywhere I go people are telling me they love it.

Sleepy Hallowtips Set to Release EP in December‏


Bomb Rush recording artist Sleepy Hallowtips is gearing up for the release of his EP titled Bring It Back. The EP which was produced by TOK group member Bay C will feature several of Sleepy’s popular tracks including From A Place, Heroine Needle ft TOK, Party, Bring It Back and Dem Caan Stop Wi. Each song on the EP will be accompanied by a music video. The EP will be distributed by Ingrooves Music and will be available on Itunes and other leading internet music stores.

“I am getting ready to drop my EP in December, this will be followed by my debut album titled Hallow be thy Name which will be released in 2012. Everybody knows that my style is different and I am always striving to push the envelope so both my EP and my album are going be wildly wicked and different,” said the artist.

Sleepy Hallowtips also busy promoting his new medley video that was recently done in support of his singles Party and Bring It Back. The video which was directed and produced by Road Block Films is currently receiving good rotation on local television stations.

“I recently did a video for two of my singles, Party and Bring It Back. Its getting some very good rotation right now and my team and I are looking at ways to increase the promotion of the video and my whole career over all right now as we prepare for the release of my EP.
