"Mental Maintenance" proves to be a masterpiece of sorts. The album consists of seventeen tracks, which takes listeners on an experiemental journey of the mind, heart and soul. KONSHENS, coming up with the album title himself, asserts that music has moved into a fast paced kind of hype and no attention is being paid to the fact that music is still playing the role of psychiatrist in many of our lives.

"The feel of the album is just as the name states. It is like experiencing the mood swings required to maintain, ease, settle and redirect ones mind. There is a song on the album for every situation" says Konshens.

Konshens's only challenge in making the album, was to control those mood swings, so they can all fit in one album. Most of the album tracks have never been heard with the exception of the first single, titled "Do Sumn". This up tempo dancehall track is taking over airwaves internationally and already creating a noteworthy buzz around the album.

It is said that the world produces a great in all areas and facets of our society every twenty years. From the looks at his already existing accomplishments and world-wide recognition, it is obvious that KONSHENS is one of those rarities in our society. We began shooting this video a few months ago but we had to put it on hold because Gyptian was busy touring overseas and I also had several overseas engagements, so now that we find the time we are gonna wrap up the shooting of the video this week,” said the artist.
