BridgeZ Leaves Bounty Killer's New Camp A.N.G

Rodney Price aka Bounty Killer made an annoucement late this afternoon via twitter which his protege BridgeZ supported via her twitter page that she will be leaving the Alliance Next Generation Camp (A.N.G).

The broadcast message stated that she will be parting ways with Bounty Killer's new camp A.N.G which hold's some of the best upcoming, and freshly established talents in the Industry.

Not to fret, though rumors are vastly spreading across social networks and media outlets on the internet that Bridgez has left the the Star Making Camp, Bridgez has not left the Alliance completely.

Bridgez states "My team and I made a mutual business decision that I was being branded too much; this is just the beginning of one of the steps I'll be taking in my career this year. I am still A.F.L... Alliance First Lady but I've always been more about making an impact than running with titles and Alliance is known for showcasing males more than females so my team and I are focused on making the name "Bridgez" a household name without having too many different brands following."

She ensures to both her fans, and Alliance supporters that their is no bad vibes between the Alliance and herself.

The First Lady and Rodney "Bounty Killer" Price came to a mutual decision today to seperate her name from "A.N.G" based on many reasonings with her team on a whole. Bridgez and the rest of her team came to the conclusion and think that this is just one of the best decisions Bridgez has made in taking her career to the next level.

Further more at 6pm EST Bounty Killer himself sent out a broadcast to his Blackberry contacts, and sent a twitter message confirming the mutual agreement between the two.

"The further announcement is that Lady Alliance aka BridgeZ is still apart of the Alliance, instead of ANG. Reason being she is more of a individual/unique artiste to me than the other A.N.G artistes who can easily group and blend in like a medley thing. She needs her own platform to present herself, I think we both decided on that. So no confusion or negatives the camp A.F.L/A.N.G"

Kereen Gregory Unleashes Her Passion For Gospel

Creative, talented and inspiring are a few of the adjectives that readily come to mind when describing Kereen Gregory, a gospel singer whose musical mission is centered on bringing souls to Christ. From as early as she can recall, Kereen had a passion for singing and she knew that her footsteps would ultimately lead her to the international stage. But she also knew that the stage would not be a secular one, because from the outset, she had totally dedicated herself to the Lord.

Hailing from Central Village in the old capital, Spanish Town, Kereen grew up in the church, where her talent was recognized at an early age and she was given much encouragement from her church family, her parents and siblings. Her father, too, had been blessed with the gift of song and it was often felt that Kereen would be the one to take over from him and fly the musical banner high for her family.

With this background it was inevitable that young Kereen, who now uses the moniker KG, would eagerly embrace every opportunity to let her voice be heard. Kereen had a special talent for turning even the most mundane sentence into a song and somehow, that song would end up being quite infectious. During her teens, she became involved in singing groups and while attending Tarrant High, Kereen was quite a popular choice to sing at school functions.

In 2008, Kereen, with much encouragement from family and friends, made a dramatic step from the church pew onto the stage of the highly competitive JCDC Gospel Song Contest, as a solo act. As expected, this vocal powerhouse proved a strong contender and her song, God Is, exposed her to a much wider audience who started to take keen interest in this compelling gospel singer.

Although KG did not win the competition, this signaled the start of her music ministry on the world stage. The doors were flung wide open and soon KG was travelling overseas for shows, and was also featured on major gospel events in Jamaica, including Fun in the Son, Heal the Nation, Freedom Fest and events for evangelist Jim Whittingham. She has also performed back-up duties for international gospel artiste, Carlene Davis.

Currently under the management of Butterfly Muzik Limited, KG is preparing for yet another milestone event in her gospel career – the launch of her debut album in the first half of 2012. For this offering, she has worked with producers Gifton Smith, Alex Blanken and Radikal Yaad.

The talented singer/song-writer has also formed an alliance with dancehall’s favourite gospel singer, Prodigal Son, for whose Radikal Yaad label, she has done two out-of-the-box singles. With these songs,Lord Do Me Again and Who Me U Mad Kereen stepped out of her usual comfort zone of traditional gospel songs and entered the realm of dancehall gospel, with much success and a bit of controversy.

That situation, however, has only served to spike the popularity of this gospel singer who names Shirley Caesar, Carlene Davis and Chevelle Franklyn as her favourite artistes. “Whatever the genre – traditional gospel, gospel reggae or dancehall gospel – it’s all about giving praise to the Lord,” a confident Kereen declares. With her immense talent, charming persona and God by her side, the sky’s the limit for Kereen ‘KG’ Gregory.
