The lover’s rock singer also played to a sold out show in Tampa, Florida on February 11, where he was the lone performer, leaving promoter Supa D very pleased. According to the promoter, “DaVille’s performance was stellar and professional as usual.”

On February 12, DaVille then slipped across to the MR CC, Club Majestic in Orlando FL., where he performed alongside reggae queen Marcia Griffiths and others, thrilling audiences there.

Delivering only as he can, February 18 and 19 saw DaVille serenading fans at the Nuvo Lounge, Raleigh North Carolina and on Road Block Radio, Palladium, Newark New Jersey. The latter saw him sharing the spotlight with fellow reggae/dancehall artistes Ghost and Romain Virgo.

Fans can be sure to catch a glimpse of DaVille at his next stop in the US, when he will be live in action on February 25th at the Westchester Social Club in Hartford, Connecticut. DaVille alongside Turbulence will also feature on the Hot 93.7fm commercial radio station.

While the singer has a tentative date in New Orleans on April 13, which should round off his stint of performances in the US, the big focus will be on an upcoming tour of Europe in the next couple of months. Plans are still being put in place and dates still to be confirmed. However, the European tour is being organized for May 20 – June 17, so it will not be long before DaVille jets off to Europe to thrill fans there.

Stevie Face Nominated for British Reggae Industry Award‏

Stevie Face has crept his way into the hearts of reggae music lovers worldwide since the release of his smash hit “Tell it like it is” and the subsequent release of his critically acclaimed album of the same name.

Nowhere is this more evident than in the UK where he has won so many loyal fans who have supported Stevie’s brand of positive and conscious reggae. These are the fans who have also nominated him in 2012 for a BRIA award (British Reggae Industry Award) in the category of international male artist.

This prestigious event first established in 1981, has pioneered the highlighting of British reggae talents in a gala event never seen before for this genre in the UK. Mr. Tony Williams a DJ for BBC Radio in London was the visionary responsible for the conceptualizing, and staging of this monumental awards ceremony, which had its inaugural launch at the Café Royal, later moving on to a much larger venue, the world renowned Royal Albert Hall in London.

During its 16 years run the BRIA has become synonymous with British reggae music at its highest level, resulting in greater acceptance of the music and sold out venues at each staging during its tenure.

In 2012 the BRIA is set to make a triumphant return to the UK for the first time since 1997, with this year promising to be bigger and better. The staging will be at London’s Indig02 on Saturday, October 13, 2012 and promises to be a night like none other.

When interviewed Stevie Face was elated about being nominated for such an outstanding and important award.

“I have so much love and respect for all my fans worldwide, and my UK fans have always shown me that special love like no other, they feel like family to me and I feel so honored always to have their love and support”

When asked what was next for Stevie Face he answered by saying:

“I am finishing up my next album which has been two years in the making and I promise my fans that it will not disappoint them. My producer the hit maker Paul “Computer Paul” Henton has been diligently working with me to ensure that this new album will live up to or exceed all expectations. I am also asking all my fans and supporters to go online and vote for me in this upcoming BRIA awards. http://www.britreggae.com/vote.php. Category “International Male Artist”
