Mr Renzo Teams Up with Aidonia for New Hit, "Bend Ya Back"

Tropical soca star Mr Renzo spices up his latest single and video by teaming up with dancehall star Aidonia for “Bend Ya Back (Remix).” An exciting and eclectic singer and songwriter, Mr Renzo was born Lawrence Adams in Bolívar, Venezuela and relocated to Trinidad at the tender age of one. His prolific journey into music began as a child and continues today, as he builds his own legacy of Spanish-Caribbean fusion, mixing tropical and salsa music with soca and calypso, as only someone with his diverse and unique heritage can do.

“I sing about what I know and coming from a Spanish background but being raised in Trinidad, it’s only natural that I bring you Latin flavors in my special take on soca music,” reveals Mr Renzo. “I’m thrilled to team up with Aidonia for ‘Bend Ya Back (Remix)’ because I want to push the fusion envelope further, and now we have a rare dancehall-meets-salsa-meets-soca hybrid. So I’m expanding the reach of my music beyond the regular soca and Latin markets and the response so far has been tremendous.”  

The explosive tune was produced by StarBlu Entertainment and MillBeatz Entertainment as part of the Soca Salsa Riddim, and was penned by Mr Renzo, Tiffany Isaacs, Kern Rose and Aidonia. The official video was directed by Kern Rose Films and shot on location in Trinidad. 

It depicts dancers bending their backs and is bound to attract dancehall fans to the tropical and soca genres, and to the exotic sounds of Mr Renzo. “Bend Ya Back (Remix)” is now available worldwide on iTunes and all major digital retailers on the Soca Salsa Riddim EP, from StarBlu Entertainmanet/MillBeatz Entertainment.
