Konshens Scores World Clash Theme Song

The international recording artist Konshens has added an incredible accolade to his growing list of accomplishments.

The stellar dancehall star has landed the very first theme song for the epic sound system competition World Clash R.E.S.E.T. 2, which is scheduled for Saturday, October 12 in Queens, New York at Amazura event hall. Konshens' rising dancehall hit "ANY WEH", produced by hit makers Chimney Records, on the Raw Cut Riddim, was selected as the clash's official theme song by the event's promoters Irish and Chin because of it's hard hitting impact.

"From the first time I heard 'ANYWEH' -- the energy from the song and the lyrical content captivated me," says Garfield "Chin" Bourne of Irish and Chin. "The song screams I am BRAVE, BOLD and BAD, which mirrors the attitudes of sounds and selectors when clashing".

"From a youth, we follow World Clash and the global impact it has on sound system and the sport of sound clash. Never have I heard Irish and Chin pick a theme song for World Clash, so I am honored for my song 'ANY WEH' to be chosen....it's a good feeling and achievement," says Konshens. World Clash R.E.S.E.T. will feature a mix of notorious clash and juggling sounds, including Fire Links, King Addies, Soul Supreme, Mighty Crown, LP, Jazzy T/Renaissance and Sky Juice/Metromedia.

Topping off this intense line up is the super-charged "ANY WEH," which Irish and Chin will incorporate into all of World Clash R.E.S.E.T. 2's official advertising and promotions. The energy-fueled song is sure to capture the essence of the high profile clash, motivating sound system and dancehall fans alike. Moving forward, Irish and Chin will identify a song each year to use as the action-packed World Clash's theme. The World Clash brand has been in existence since the late 90's.

Promoters Irish and Chin have prided themselves with producing a high caliber sound system competition that is recognized throughout the world. A central point of importance for Irish and Chin is innovation. Notably, World Clash became the first sound clash packaged and promoted like a stage show, the first clash to market selectors and sounds as celebrities and the first clash to achieve an international media presence and visibility.

Now, World Clash is the first to peg an official theme song....thanks to Konshens' fiery "ANY WEH." Konshens is fresh off the heels of five performances during the course of Labor Day festivities in New York, a record breaking performance in Uganda, Africa before 60,000 raving fans and a successful European tour. The dancehall star continues to score hits and is currently receiving radio spins for his recent single with hip hop superstar Lil Jon on his "Big and Sexy" remix.

Jamaican Songstress Tessanne Chin Auditions for NBCs - The Voice

The Voice is an innovative vocal competition show, which features four stages of try outs. The first begins with the blind audition, then the battle rounds, the knockouts and finally, the live performance shows.

During the blind auditions the decisions from the super star panel of coaches, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera, are based solely on voice and not by looks.

The coaches hear the artists perform yet, don't get to see them. If the coaches are impressed by the artists voice, he/she pushes a button to select the artist for his/her team.

Known for her hit singles "Hideaway" and "Messenger" Tessanne Chin and her team Ranch Ent. has confirmed that Tessanne has auditioned for The Voice. " "With no further details at this time we can only ask that everyone tune in to NBC on Monday, September 23 and support Tessanne during her blind auditions". says Ranch Ent. CEO Orville 'Shaggy' Burrell.

As we look forward to The Voice and watching Tessanne's audition, Tessanne wanted to say Thank You! "Soooo overwhelmed by all the love and support!!! Makes me wanna cry, thank you so much for all your kind words and for believing in me" says Tessanne.

Denyque Make Me Believe You

The video for Denyque’s still-rising single Make Me Believe You - shot, directed & edited by the very talented RD Studios JA - was premiered on TVJ's Entertainment Report last Friday; and was virally released the following Sunday on her YouTube Channel. The video is fast making its way onto other local television programs as well as viral media.

The song, which was produced by Stephen ‘Di Genius’ McGregor, became an instant crowd pleaser when it was released in February this year. “A lot of people tell me that Make Me Believe You shows another side of me that they've never seen before.

Honestly, working with Stephen is really inspiring and I definitely enjoyed making this track. I think that’s what people feel, the fun I had writing and recording this song with Di Genius,” Denyque said.

Denyque has been working the single into her performances as well, receiving rave reviews for the tune and Make Me Believe You regularly finds its way into the sets of popular radio DJs. “I think RD Studios really outdid themselves on the production of this video.

The concept was challenging to bring to life in a way that wasn’t corny, but still relatable. I looove working with RD, not just because we're friends but because we connect. They're a crew of very creative and artistic individuals and that seals it for me."
