Exco Levi Strives to Juno Nomination for Best Reggae Recording 2014‏


"Strive" was produced by Silly Walks Discotheque and features guest vocals from fellow Reggae revivalist Kabaka Pyramid. The song is performed with encouraging lyrics, telling listeners to keep their faith as they go through difficult times in their lives. This years Juno nomination (the Canadian equivalent to a Grammy) marks Exco's 3rd nomination since 2011.

The 43rd annual awards ceremony will be held from Monday March 24th to Sunday March 30th, 2014 in Winnipeg and celebrates the best musicians in Canada. When notified about his nomination, Exco said "I am proud of this nomination ... Wow! I thank CARAS and the fans for sharing my music and the positive message in the song.

I also thank Kabaka and Silly Walks for making this song a truly great one!" For Jamaica's Kabaka Pyramid, this marks his first co-nomination for a Juno Award, and second for Germany's Silly Walks Discotheque. Additional nominees in the 2014 category for Best Reggae Recording include Ammoye "Baby It's You."

Stephen Marley Leaks New Single


Stephen "Ragga" Marley unveils his brand new track "Thorn Or A Rose" featuring Black Thought, giving fans a sneak peek of what is to come on his 2014 summer album 'Revelation Part 2: The Fruit of Life.'

The eight-time Grammy-winning artist and son of Bob Marley will also tour all major markets in the U.S. throughout April and May.

Konshens Set to Guest Appear on Arsenio Hall Show with Sean Paul‏


For the past few days, social media have been buzzing that Konshens will be making a guest appearance on The Arsenio Hall Show alongside dancehall superstar Sean Paul.

Well the buzz is real! Sean Paul, who is currently promoting his upcoming album 'Full Frequency' set to release on February 18 via Atlantic, will appear on The Arsenio Hall Show with Konshens.

The first single off Sean Paul new album titled 'Want Dem All' features Konshens and has brought a different energy in the clubs when played. Yet, the single is creating worldwide pandemonium whenever BOTH artists hit the stage together.

"We recently went to Costa Rica and performed 'Want Dem All' in front of over 10,000 screaming fans and trust me it was a great energy" says Konshens. On Thursday February 13, Sean Paul and Konshens will bring an energy you will feel in your bones. 

Both artists are looking forward to performing in front of the millions of viewers watching The Arsenio Hall Show, which airs on WPIX, check your local listing for airtime. Konshens is currently getting ready for his US Tour, set to kick off late February. While touring he will continue to record for his upcoming album 'Hotel Room', which will release later this year.
