Destine Media to Represent Their FIRST Female Artist 'TOIAN'


Ever so often, there comes something new and ground breaking that can bring entire masses to their feet. Now, in 2014, a significant emergence has occurred. Meet Jamaican Recording Artist, Toian born on September 21, 1991. The female singer, songwriter, growing up in Montego Bay, Jamaica has unquestionably tailored the development of her unique style and sound.

Toian musical style fuses the reggae, pop and r&b genres and is gaining interest across the globe. With a wealth of encouragement Toian spawned an unbreakable confidence in her music, which led to a decision and a journey, fated to be unforgettable. In January 2010, Toian began working in the studio with Sean Alaric of Class One Music Co., which has been her base production team.

At the time it was never expected that the 18 year old song-bird, would in such quick succession, grow to become one of Jamaica's most promising female vocal artists. Much to the excitement of her hefty band of fans, her single, "All Night Party", was premiered on ZJ liquid's popular radio show, Fresh to Death, which had radio stations, ipods, cd players buzzing worldwide.  

In July 2010, Toian teamed up with dancehall reggae star Konshens, who immediately agreed to a collaboration upon hearing a demo of "All Night Party". The collaboration quickly made its way to #2 on NYC WBLK Radio Top 10 Charts, which later led to Toian being selected as the 2011 International Artist of the year on the Unsigned Hype Program in New York. Her quick success sparked the interest of a number of major industry executives and in May 2011, under the guidance of Multi Platinum producer, Don Corleon, she recorded her third single "You'll Be Mine", which became a viral sensation, receiving over a million views on the internet. Fast forward to 2013, Toian collaborated with popular reggae artist Protoje on another Don Corleon production titled "Shot By Love", which has received over a million views on YouTube and is definitely a favorite among reggae lovers. 

Toian would not stop there as she teamed up with producer Sean Alaric to produce the single titled "Rude Boys". "Rude Boys" has aired on the international network MTV and is being showcased internationally as one of the singles to transcend Toian to an international level. Founder and CEO of Destine Media, Ronnie Tomlinson is pleased to represent their first female artist at Destine Media. "Destine Media has been operating for the past four years and we have been blessed to have the opportunity to work with so many talented entertainers, yet, we have never signed on to represent a female as their full time publicist.
