VP Records Retail Store Customer Appreciation Day - Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010‏

VP Records Retail Store celebrates 31 years in business by hosting its annual Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday, September 18, 2010. The celebratory event takes place in the parking lot of the VP Retail Store, located at 170-21 Jamaica Avenue in Jamaica, Queens, and runs from 10am to 6pm.

"VP Records extends our appreciation to our friends and customers for their patronage for over 30 years now," states Pat Chin, co-founder of VP Records. "We invite everyone to come and enjoy the festivities all day long, and truly experience our rich Caribbean culture and heritage."

In addition to a blowout sale on VP merchandize and giveaways, there will be a free food tasting featuring an array of Caribbean delights, including island soups, sorrel drinks and jerk chicken. Selected vendors will also be on hand selling food and other Caribbean-flavored items, throughout the day.
