Recording artiste Dubkore said he’s pleased with the progress he has made musically, with the release of his 13-track debut album which was released in June.

The easy going reggae chanter, born Collin Llewellyn, has been in a positive frame of mind since the release of his album ‘Arrogant Man’, which was produced by his Pikkihead Records production team.

“It (album) is my first and I am very pleased with how it came out, this album will give people a true picture of what I am about musically. I’m very proud of the work and it’s a good representation of Dubkore,” he said.

The former St Georges College student also recently released a music video for the latest single off his album, Same Routine, which features upcoming female singer Empress Que. Same Routine is a song commenting on the several societal ills that continue to plague Jamaica, and was directed by well-known video director Asha Mchail.

“The video is like a reality check thing. The song was done by me and Empress Que and we are confident that the public will love it because of its message,” he said.

While he awaits his date with destiny the soft-spoken Rastafarian said he’s now fully focused on making himself more marketable as he seeks to increase his stage show appearances on local soil.

“Well, right now we a try get some more shows done locally. I performed in Los Angeles on Jamaica Independence day, in the famous Dub Club. Right after that I came to Jamaica and started working in my rehearsal studio with my band in preparation for several upcoming shows,” he said.
