Jah Prince Revert to Original Name

Reggae artist Jah Prince recently announced that he intends to revert back to his original artist name as oppose to continuing under the brand Prince Ranique. News from the sing-jays camp is that when they tried to register the domain name they learnt that someone else was also using the name Jah Prince. It was then that they decided to change the artist name to Prince Ranique.

Unfortunately, because the disc jockeys were already accustomed to the name Jah Prince, his team has decided to discontinue promoting the name Ranique and go back to Jah Prince. Efforts are now being made to ensure that all mediums are updated with the original name of the artist, which is Jah Prince.

All shows and appearances already scheduled with the name Prince Ranique will be honored, however, promoters are being asked to update flyers if they can, with the original name and the one that will be used going forward (Jah Prince).
