Chedda Rocks Village Blues Cafe Live Concert Series‏

Decked in a light blue and white ensemble courtesy of local designer Romeich Wear, Darkcide Media recording artiste Chedda took the stage at the Village Blues Cafe, Barbican after Denyque paved the way as the opening act.

Making his debut on the popular live concert series, Chedda did not disappoint has the packed house littered with celebrities and corporate executives got a glimpse of what this talent upcoming act had to offer. After paying homage to slain entertainer O’Neil Edwards of Voicemail, Chedda kicked off his set with the chart bubbler ‘Nah Stay Poor’, by then the large audience had become more responsive as he grew in confidence reeling off several other hits namely; ‘Hill and Gully’ and ‘Cleanest’.

Now in his comfort zone, Chedda then delved into the more serious aspect of his performance with the thought provoking number ‘Cyah Trick We Again’ which speaks to the economic hardships and atrocities plaguing our nation. In the end his ten minutes set was well received and garnered high praises from patrons and fellow entertainers alike.

Last Saturday Chedda also made his debut at ‘Settlement’ giving a good account of himself alongside J.O.P front man Aidonia.

Meanwhile with several singles in rotation, the Cassia Park native has just released his forth song for the summer holidays entitled ‘Cleanest’ featuring teen sensation QQ and is now in talks about shooting a video in the coming weeks. The track was produced by Coppershot Music.

On July 24th, Chedda is booked to perform at Summer Bar-raage at the Spirit Oasis, Hope Gardens.
