CHEZIDEK 'Judgement Time'


In this 'Judgement Time' Chezidek worked with producers and Ras Denco Benaissa Linger Jahsolidrock Music label.This latest installment is a return to the golden age of reggae and is home to the taste of the 70s and 80s.

A freshness in the sound and the voice that will delight fans of reggae music. Through his voice Chezidek delivers conscious lyrics full of love and messages of environmental protection among others.

Chezidek, Desbert Johnson began singing at an early age in singing competitions and other school concerts. He was a conscientious member of the choir of St. Ann's Bay. Once school ended, he skims the sound systems of the region and calls himself rinches Chilla, singing and toasting all in the evenings.

He then moved to Kingston where he became friends with producer Phillip "Fatti" Burrell from Xterminator Production. He will record his first album "Harvest Time" in 2002 which found the hits including Can not Hear Must Feel, Breakfree and the explosive title track. His first hit Leaves Trees produced by Hugh Miller (Aka Bunny Dan) is in the Top 10 on the BBC.
