From start to finish it is a journey through the different sub genres of dancehall music, covering topics such as Socio - political issues, relationships, partying and personal struggles. The influences of his favorite lyricists Assassin, Junior Gong and Eminem are clearly brought to life through Calado's well thought out lyrics and unique delivery. ‘Sad Streets’ is a great introduction for someone who shows the signs of a great artiste.
Along with the official launch party for his Sad Streets mix tape, Calado also plans to shoot a music video in February for two songs, ‘Carry’ on produced by ICON and ‘Mystery’ produced by J. Cannon, which features a popular Madonna sample. Both are currently receiving heavy rotation on radio.
