New Image New Focus for Kimanda Cunningham!

It’s been five years since Kimanda Cunningham competed on the Digicel Rising Stars stage where she finished 6th out of thousands of contestants. Since then, she has done well.

She has recorded songs at the famed Penthouse Studios (home to artists such as Marcia Griffiths, Buju Banton and Beres Hammond), she’s been featured on riddims produced by the Road Crusher Music Record label, and is regularly selected by world famous DJ’s such as ZJ Liquid, Johnny Cyaan Cool and Zip Jock Ice from Zip FM.
Kimanda is definitely on a roll which has just become hotter!

Working with Neil as her stylist, Kimanda has a new image and new focus which matches her musical tenacity and sex appeal! “I met with the team at Road Crusher Music studio’s, and we decided that my image had to reflect my music, so this is the new look,” said Kim with a confident smile!

The photographer, stylist and passers-by who were on location for the photo shoot agree that Kimanda definitely had heads turning with her stunning new look. Sporting a form fitting dress, designer jacket and aviator shades, Kim posed for the camera which captured her elegance, class and playful nature. “Being in front of the camera is an extension of being on the stage. When I’m on the stage, another side of me comes out, so the pictures are a reminder to fans of who I am when I’m on that stage!”

Feedback to Kimanda’s new image has been immediate. ZJ Liquid immediately gave his approval saying “all of Kim’s fans will love the new look. She’s hot, and her ting tun up!” Kimanda’s newest single, a cover of the Foreigner song “I Want To Know What Love Is” is receiving consistent radio play in major markets outside of Jamaica including the UK, Germany and Australia. Her single “Striving,” produced by Canada’s Mike Taron Muzik, is in regular rotation on stations across Canada.
