Robert Minott made his name as a show promoter and now he has his sights set on making it big as a recording artiste. His latest single Right Man Fi Yuh has hit the right notes on FM radio where it has gotten left-field treatment.
The song has hit several charts outside of Jamaica. It is currently riding high on the Jamaica Music Countdown Top 25 Reggae Singles chart. And upbeat Minot was quite elated to learn that the song had impacted the charts. In a release to the media, he said the success of the song signifies the reality that music lovers want to be entertained by good music.
Said Minott “It signifies that people are still hungry for good music and it’s a good feeling to know that one can reap positive rewards once the right seeds are sewn. I am loving every moment of this and I hope the song will make it to the top of the charts”.
The response to the song has not been limited to Jamaica. According to Minot, the response abroad has been nothing but positive.
The follow up single is Silver Words is due within the next month or two. Minott promises that his forthcoming album will be something special. “The album will be very diverse and a lot of time and effort has been invested into producing the material.
