Shocking Murray Records Song About Kingston‏

The music industry is a very competitive place and if you don’t keep current you are easily forgotten or pushed aside. Knowing this all too well, reggae artist Collin Murray aka Shocking Murray is working feverishly to establish himself as household name both locally and abroad.

Since the release of his album earlier this year the Portland native has continued to trek across Europe performing on several major events as he continues to promote his album which is titled Troddin.

“I have been very busy on the road since the album dropped in May, doing a lot of shows and promotional works as well. You know how the business is, its kinda rough and you have to keep pushing if you want to make it to the top,” said Shocking Murray.

During his travels Shocking Murray has also recorded a number of songs for various European producers. He recently released a brand sew single titled City of Kingston; this single was produced by German production/sound-system crew Weedy G Soundforce.

Since its release City of Kingston has been receiving strong support in Switzerland where the deejay is based and in Germany.

“I have been recording lots of new music with various producers. I just dropped one of those songs, its called City of Kingston and it is getting a lot of love already in Europe and I plan to start promoting it in Jamaica real soon.

Locally Shocking Murray is currently promoting a number of singles including When the Smoke Clear and the anti-violent anthem Johnny.
