Fast rising Deejay Kashu, formerly known as Kashu Man is determined not to let anything stop his progress. The deejay is still recovering from injuries he sustained in a car accident in California last November; however he has not allowed this to restrict him from moving forward with his career.
He recently delivered a show stopping performance at Club Cohiba in Long Beach, California where he performed alongside Anthony B and Junior Menzies.
“Right now it’s all about taking my career to the next level and nothing can stop that. Even though I am still recovering from the accident, I am moving full speed ahead with my career. I recently did a show with Anthony B and Junior Menzies and the response I got from the crowd was crazy,” said the artist.
Kashu is currently promoting a hot new single titled Money Mi Need Yuh. The song which was recorded at Q Million studios in Los Angeles on the Precious Metal rhythm was produced by Donneito ‘Richie Idol’ Jones and Clifton ‘Rankin’ Issac for their New Lyfe imprint.
Since its release last week Money Mi Need Yuh has been receiving strong rotation both locally and abroad. Kashu and the producers of his slamming dancehall track are confident that this single will help to give him the breakthrough he needs to become a household name in music industry.
“Money Mi Need Yuh is going to be a big tune in 2012, we just start promote it and already its creating a big buzz all over LA. The producers plan to shoot a video for it, so we are gonna promote it big time and I will be coming home in a few weeks to kick off the Jamaican promotion for it,” said Kashu.
