Eight Day Recording artist Castafari recently released the music video for his song titled Monopoly, which is the latest single of his Just Life CD. The Boston based Jamaican artist is very upbeat about the video that was shot and produced in Vietnam.
“I just dropped the video for my single called Monopoly, this video was shot in Vietnam, and it took a lot of hard work to produce it. I am very excited about it and I know the fans are going to love it. This video is different on many levels from anything out there right now,” said the deejay whose real name is Andre Collins.
The video features an animated theme and showcases Castafari dancing across a monopoly board game while he sings lines such as: sometimes life is like a Monopoly/ so get yuh money try yuh best fi nuh go a jail, and if you in the valley try yuh best nuh hol a skirt tail.
Castafari says since the video was released, it has been getting a lot of rotation stateside and it has also been getting a lot of hits on youtube. He also said that plans are in the pipeline for an official release of the video locally.
“Since I dropped the video it has been doing well in the US and on the internet. The next move is to release in in Jamaica, I can’t leave out yard at all,” said the artist.
