Having made serious impact on the dancehall scene in Philadelphia and several other parts of the US with controversial singles such as No Tail and Never See Come See, dancehall artist M-Gee is gearing up for more success.
The hard hitting deejay recently released several new singles including Hypocrite on the Happy Time rhythm, Back Pocket Hail on the Immortal rhythm and Wake Me Up on the Overtime rhythm, this track was produced by the controversial hit making producer Roach.
In a recent interview M-Gee revealed that all three songs are currently enjoying strong rotation both locally and overseas.
The deejay also hinted at the possibility of a music video for Wake Me Up.
“Right now things are looking very good for my career, I just released some new songs and they are getting a lot of support from DJs all over the world. I am especially pleased with the response to Wake Me Up, this tune is getting crazy rotation on ZIP FM right now, I think I might have to drop a video for it, my fans are demanding it,” said the artiste.
M-Gee is currently preparing for this year’s staging of his annual Ivy League birthday party that will be held on October 13th in Philadelphia.
He is also scheduled to do a number of shows in Philadelphia and New York next month going into November, these events will see him sharing the stage with the likes of Sean Paul, Beenie Man and Demarco. After that he heads to Europe for a string of dates in Sweden.
