The international press shone the spotlight on dancehall diva Tifa over the past week. She was featured on two major international websites, namely mtviggy.com and music-news.com
‘It feels good to have positive international recognition as a Jamaican, as a woman and as a dancehall artiste. The sky is the limit as long as I’m permitted to go there. There is more good news to come’, Tifa said in a release to the media.
The interview on MTV Iggy saw Tifa tackling a number of topics including the direction of her career, Blount’s disease, her latest video Champion Bubbler (which is also featured on the MTV Iggy website), how she started out in the business; and which male artistes she holds in high esteem.
On the British based pop/rock/alternative/R&B website music-news.com Tifa spoke about her hot new singles Inside Me (produced by UIM Records); Taste Good (Washroom Entertainment); and Hypocrite Smile (Wiletunes/Ward 21).
The website also highlighted her recent partnership with Stewart Motors as the brand ambassador for the company's MINI.
It has been a hectic 2013 so far for the talented artiste who continues to command attention at radio and in the dancehall with a number of bubbly and inescapable tracks. Additionally, she has been in the studios working on various tracks while fulfilling her contractual obligations performance wise.
Bend Me Over is another one of her recent releases which is already causing a commotion. The track was produced by Washroom Entertainment and is featured on the Bounce and Wave rhythm.
Other artistes featured on the project include Konshens, Beenie Man, Alaine, and Voicemail among others.
‘The song is basically my version of a Dash Out part 2. I love to give my fans something to dance to and be happy about, especially for the ladies. Let’s bring back the fun in dancehall’, Tifa commented.
Tifa’s upcoming debut album Twisted Footprints is expected this summer.
She is set to release a number of videos leading up to the release of the project, including those for Bend Me Over and Inside Me.
