The lineup for the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival is looking to be as diverse and exciting as previous years. Organizers of the Festival are announcing that multiple Grammy Award winning star Chaka Khan and Country Pop singer, Crystal Gayle are confirmed for the 18th staging of the Festival.

The Annual event takes place on Thursday, January 30, 2014 - Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium. The other leading lady, Country Pop singer, Crystal Gayle captured a Grammy award with hit Don't It Make my Brown Eyes Blue.

Junior Taylor, Associate Producer of the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival is not giving everything away. "Patrons will be in for a treat as Chaka and Crystal are phenomenal singers and performers and have a repertoire of music Jamaicans enjoy. They will deliver a musical experience like no other as they are part of a larger lineup with some really awesome talent and music but I cannot give everything away so I encourage everyone to listen out for more names in the coming days," he explained.

Other artistes billed for the Festival are Toni Braxton, Chrisette Michele, Aaron Neville and more to be announced. Jamaica's most diverse three day music Festival is in high gear for another outstanding staging with patrons locally and from overseas already making advanced purchases for tickets to the event.

The Festival is renowned for its rich music and cultural offerings and the feature event has also been a launching pad for some of the nation's outstanding talents including Tessanne Chin, Roots Underground and Reggae crooner Romain Virgo.
