As we approach the holidays and we gather with our families, International reggae crooner Sanchez took some time out to reminisce on the lost of young Trayvon Martin.
Trayvon Martin was a 17-year old African American from Miami Gardens, Florida who was fatally shot by George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer, in Sanford Florida.
Zimmerman was not charges at the time of the shooting by Sanford Police, who said that there was no evidence to refute his claim of self defense and that Florida's stand your ground law prohibited law-enforcement officials from arresting or charging him.
Zimmerman was eventually charged in Martin's death and a jury acquitted him of second degree murder and of manslaughter charges in July 2013.
International reggae super star Sanchez is asking 'where is the justice for Trayvon' Sanchez sends a stern message letting Zimmerman know 'even though you run from man, you never get away from the father and even though you took your stand, yes you will feel the wrath of my fathers hands, Yes you can from man but you can't run from the father, his right hand his left".
'Yes We Wanna Know' written & produced by Sanchez on his own Sanmonik Records, is a heartfelt song, released this week. With the holiday season upon us, we begin to reflect on our family and loved ones and reminisce on the times spent with each other.
'The brutal killing of Trayvon, and the injustice just made me upset and only way I know how to voice my opinion and anger is through music. George Zimmerman will not get away and did not get away, he shall feel the wrath of my Father's hands, says Sanchez.
