Conscious reggae artist Xtr3me makes his introduction to the global audience with his debut album Vintage 21: Ancient Tradition, available worldwide from all major digital retailers on March 11, 2014, with pre-order available on February 25, 2014, from FOX FUSE.
Hailing from St. Catherine, Jamaica, Dwayne “Xtr3me” Nelson discovered his passion for music at a very young age and has matured into a socially-conscious reggae artist through the years.
Describing his style as roots reggae mixed with modern reggae, Xtr3me reveals that reggae music brought him insight that no other genre had given him, and his quest for identity finally bared fruit. Such insight is obvious on all eight (8) tracks of his debut album, which were all penned by this prolific and talented singer/songwriter. The entire album was produced by Jamaica-based Kimichi Records.
Citing musical influences such as reggae greats Gregory Isaacs, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Sizzla, Mutabaruka, Beres Hammond and Dennis Brown, the young Rastafarian singer is focused on bringing heartfelt, meaningful music from the very roots of the genre. With his debut album now in hand, he is on the precipice of becoming a household name to reggae music lovers everywhere.
