Stevie Face Aims To Shake Off Cover Singer Tag With Thank You For Loving Me

In recent times popular reggae crooner Stevie Face has showed his musical dominance by scoring hits both locally and abroad with several cover songs including Tell It Like Is, In The Living Years, Wanna Wake Up With You and Since I Met You Baby.

While it is a known fact that for decades many Jamaican artistes including stalwarts such as Ken Booth, John Holt and Sanchez have successfully done cover versions, Stevie Face is not amused by the fact some industry insiders have decided to label him as a cover singer.
In a recent interview he stated that he is going to prove this notion wrong.

“A lot of people are calling me a cover singer but I am going to prove them wrong, I have hit before with original songs such as Teach The Children, Coming Home and I’m In Love. I am going to do it again with my latest single called Thank You for Loving Me,” said the artiste.

Stevie Face is currently enjoying heavy rotation on FM radio with Thank You For Loving Me which on Donovan Germain’s the Big Stage rhythm project. He recently shot and released a music video in support of the single.
