Flava Squad Entertainment's CEO Ewan McRae is determined to his company to the next level. McRae who hails from the parish of St. Elizabeth, is putting in place a recipe to ensure that the production company will become a force to be reckoned with in the future.
In a release to the media, Mr McRae explained that after more than a year in operation, Flava Squad is ready to move into the big leagues. The first order of business for the new year, is a new location for
the entity. Flava Squad Entertainment will be relocating from its current address
at 50 Dumbarton Avenue in Kingston to 30 Burlington Avenue on the 1st of January 2011.
The company recently released a new rhythm project called the Fern Gully Rhythm which features songs from a cadre of talented artistes on the company’s roster including Nitty Kutchie, New Kids, Singer J, Ataru, Azhid, Mission, KI and Paridice. The songs are available on Itunes and other leading internet download sites. This project will be followed by two others namely the Wave Rhythm and the Mackavelli Rhythm which are both scheduled to be released on the 3rd of January 2011.
McRae said that while most established producers shy away from recording new artistes, he has pledged to work with new and up and coming artistes. He also plans to improve on the quality of service
that Flava Squad offers to their clients.
At present the company’s studio facility is heavy utilized by well known producers and recording artistes.
