More Good Life Success for Chuckle Berry


More than a year since the release of his hit single titled Good Life, dancehall artiste Chuckle Berry, is still reaping rich rewards from the single which topped several reggae and dancehall charts around the globe.

The gravelly voiced deejay has two songs in the form of Good Life and another song titled Johny B. Goode on Sly & Robbie’s compilation album titled One Pop, which has been nominated in Best Reggae Album category of this year’s Grammy Awards. Both songs were produced by the world renowned rhythm twins.

In a release to the press Chuckle Berry who is currently on a promotional tour of Canada said that he feels truly blessed to be a part of the compilation.

“To work with Sly and Robbie has been a high point in my career; it’s truly a blessing to have two songs on One Pop, Sly and Robbie are two of the greatest musicians and producers in the whole world. I hope they win the Grammy because they deserve it for all the hard work they have put in over the years, they have done a lot for reggae and dancehall music worldwide”, said Chuckle Berry.

Chuckle Berry also said that he is looking forward to release of his debut album which is being produced by Sly and Robbie, the album should be completed and released early next year.

Some of the other artistes who have songs on One Pop are Jimmy Riley, Bunny Rugz, Cherine Anderson, TOK, Leba Hibbert and Lutan Fyah.
