Mr.G Returns to Teen Splash


Popular dancehall recording artiste Mr G is very upbeat about his upcoming performance on this year’s installment of the popular Teen Splash stage show, which will be held on Boxing Day at James Bond Beach in Oracabessa, St. Mary.

“I am looking forward to Teen Splash, its one the most exciting events and the crowd at Teen Splash always gives you a good response once you deliver the goods. I plan to go all out for my fans at this event, because its been a while since I have performed in St Mary and I know the people are expecting something special from me”, said Mr G.

Mr G has been in the music biz for a decade now and is a very consistent hit maker. Over the years he has registered on dancehall charts world wide with hit singles such as Buff Bay, Big Man Likkle Youth, Normal, Old Crook and Before The Year Done (Mi Waan Rich). He is currently heating up the airwaves with Seanizzle produced singles Swaggerfic and Beat Them Bad.

Mr G will also be in action at the Super Family Fun Day which will take place at the Police Officers Club on Monday January 1st.

Richie Spice to Thrill Fans at Sting 2010


As a top flight reggae act Richie Spice spends most of his time performing overseas. Over the last few years local appearances have been very rare for him. However when the opportunity presents it self he is always ready and willing to thrill his local fans with his unique vocal style.

This year Richie Spice has been chosen by the organizers of the annual Boxing Day event Sting to appear in the 13 Warriors of segment of Sting which will also feature the likes of Bounty Killer and Beenie Man.

In a release to the press to Richie Spice made it clear that he plans to give the patrons at Sting a very exciting performance. “Its been a good while now since I have not performed on Sting and I am going give the Sting patrons something to remember. I am really looking forward to this performance and the fans can come out and expect nothing but the best from me”, said the singer.

Richie Spice is currently promoting his latest single titled Black Woman which is the first single from his long awaited album for VP records, The Book of Job.

Flava Squad Entertainment Moving Forward


Flava Squad Entertainment's CEO Ewan McRae is determined to his company to the next level. McRae who hails from the parish of St. Elizabeth, is putting in place a recipe to ensure that the production company will become a force to be reckoned with in the future.

In a release to the media, Mr McRae explained that after more than a year in operation, Flava Squad is ready to move into the big leagues. The first order of business for the new year, is a new location for
the entity. Flava Squad Entertainment will be relocating from its current address
at 50 Dumbarton Avenue in Kingston to 30 Burlington Avenue on the 1st of January 2011.

The company recently released a new rhythm project called the Fern Gully Rhythm which features songs from a cadre of talented artistes on the company’s roster including Nitty Kutchie, New Kids, Singer J, Ataru, Azhid, Mission, KI and Paridice. The songs are available on Itunes and other leading internet download sites. This project will be followed by two others namely the Wave Rhythm and the Mackavelli Rhythm which are both scheduled to be released on the 3rd of January 2011.

McRae said that while most established producers shy away from recording new artistes, he has pledged to work with new and up and coming artistes. He also plans to improve on the quality of service
that Flava Squad offers to their clients.

At present the company’s studio facility is heavy utilized by well known producers and recording artistes.
