Avaran Romances on “Sunday Morning”

Conscious Reggae artist Avaran romances the ladies with his newest release entitled “Sunday Morning.” Produced by Hungrybelly Records for a local Entertainment Company, the single hears Avaran describe the beauty of his Lady, and the fact that he wants to put a smile on her face. The catch is, as much as he calls his Lady, she’s not there to receive his call!

“I thought of the concept for this song actually on a Sunday Morning, I was given the riddim by a local producer and it captured me right away because at the time I had been introduced to someone and no matter how hard we both tried to contact each other , due to work we always missed that one important call” says Avaran from his recording studio in the Bahamas.

Since the release of his single, “Sunday Morning” has received extensive radio play in the UK, Europe and Canada. To that Avaran says “I’m thankful for all the support the Radio and DJ’s have been giving the song so far. They’re the ones who get the songs to the ears of the fans, so their support is really important to me!”

Avaran began his recording career in 1996 at which time he recorded several singles, including the internationally acclaimed hit song “Only Jah” on the Gaitor / Meditation imprint. The compilation on which “Only Jah” appeared was joined by music from Freddie McGregor, John Holt and Yami Bolo to name a few.

Avaran has opened for notable artists such as artists such as Beres Hammond, Luciano, Lucky Dube and Richie Spice, and he also did some background vocals for the Crown Prince of Reggae Dennis Brown. He has toured with Mykal Rose and traveled extensively through his infectious Reggae, most notably in Europe.
