"Me no definitely know who stab me, but is a group of dem," Versatile told THE STAR.

Information reaching THE STAR is that the incident took place between 3 and 4 a.m.

While at the club, he had sent some party flyers to the disc jockey on duty for him to "big it up" and "spread the word".

Versatile said while on his way to the booth, he was blocked by a man who refused to move. After asking the man to move, they got into a tussle and he eventually passed.

He said the youth refused to move from his path, even though he asked him repeatedly, and so they got involved in a scuffle and he eventually passed and went to the selector.

The Port Antonio police confirmed the incident and said that they have a man in custody. His identity is being withheld.
