Andy Livingston Aims International Market

Fast rising reggae singer Andy Livingston is very upbeat about his latest project which is an up tempo song titled The One. The One was written and produced by Livingston and his longtime collaborator and friend Herbie Harris. Always looking out for new talent Andy also invited talented up-coming deejay Kenzic, who’s fast pace rap gives The One an extra bit of spice, to be a part of the project.

The singer who is known for lovers rock ballads such as his 2010 hit The Promise, love Aint Enough and Good People, said after many years of recording lovers rock, one drop and mid tempo tunes, he thought it was time to give his fans something different.

"Over the years I have been doing a lot of lovers rock and one drop tunes and that’s what the people know me for both locally and abroad. However I am a very versatile artiste and I will not limit myself to any one genre or sound in music, so I have decided its time to give my fans something different."

The idea for The One came to Andy Livingston after he heard several of his friends complaining about being constantly accused by their wives of staring at or flirting with other women. So after he wrote the lyrics for the song he linked up with Herbie Harris at the famed Sonic Sounds studio to record the track.

Since its official release a little over a week ago The One has been getting good rotation on several local top radio stations including IRIE FM, ZIP FM, HITZ 92 FM and FAME FM. It is also getting good support abroad in territories such as Europe, Africa and Canada. This has prompted Andy Livingston to record Spanish and French versions of the song as he intends to take aim at the international market with The One.

Andy Livingston is currently preparing for an upcoming tour of Europe which will see him doing several shows with veteran reggae artiste Admiral Tibet in countries such as France, Germany and Spain.
