Cen’C Love delivers at Plug and Play

Cen' C At Plug & Play
It was pure niceness inside the Wyndham Kingston Hotel’s Jonkanoo Lounge, on Friday night, the 6th of May. The occasion was the weekly Plug & Play event and reggae songstress Cen'C Love, who was billed as the headline act did not disappoint her audience.

Backed by her Love Express band Cen'C Love gave a very exciting performance which saw her delivering several tracks from her recently released debut album, Love Letter. She opened her performance with the controversial These Lies, which hits out against several of the problems plaguing our society today including skin bleaching, drugs and prostitution. This number received a huge response from the audience; from that point onwards she could do no wrong.

She totally captivated her audience with her unique vocal styling which was especially impressive on acoustic numbers such as Paradise and Hey You. Her more popular tracks such as Casanova and Cystem were also huge winners with the audience, which also included celebrities and music industry insiders such Marcia Griffiths, Junior X and Dennis Livingston of Revolutionary Entertainment.

She closed her hour long performance with a rendition of Marcia Griffiths timeless classic Electric Boogie which was originally penned by her father Bunny Wailer.
