Digicel Rising Stars Launches New Season

This is it! Digicel Rising Stars is back with a bang and out to extend its lead as the most watched television show in Jamaica. There are a host of new changes to this year's series and you can find it all out tonight at 6:30 on TVJ for the Digicel Rising Stars Launch Special.

"Tonight we will introduce Jamaica to an All New Digicel Rising Stars with exciting changes. The show has evolved and will remain as the benchmark show in Jamaica", said Sharon Schroeter, the show's Producer.

"We have had seven years of success and Jamaicans have continued to give their support. We were the first to bring a live singing show where the people of Jamaica choose the winner and we have given many across the country and opportunity they might not have otherwise had to showcase their talent to the widest possible audience in Jamaica. Digicel Rising Stars recognizes the dreams of artists and gives them the exposure they need for potential stardom and this year we're going even further".

Many who have crossed the stage over the years are now household names including Christoper Martin, Laden, Noddy Virtue, Romain Virto and Brown Shuga to name a few. Who will be part of this year's emerging talent?
