POSTPONED: Third World Spirit Lives Concert Series

Third World Spirit Lives Concert Series, originally scheduled for May 20-23, 2011 in Jamaica, has been postponed. The band, in association with Brownstone Marketing and VicRae Inc., planned on hosting a free three-day concert series in Jamaica Labor Day Weekend.

Victor E. Lewis, manager for Third World explains, "We had to postpone the concert series as a result of scheduling conflicts which would not allow us to execute the preferred events. Third World Music Group's recent release of album 23 "Patriots" has aided in the intensification of the Band's schedule leaving limited time for our team to prepare and present the desired and warranted shows.

Our aspiration is to present premiere events as would be expected when it involves an iconic band of over three decades. Upon rescheduling, the concept will not change. We will still carryout shows in Portland, Montego Bay, St. Thomas, Portmore and an exclusive fundraising event with proceeds to benefit the Jamaica Children's Heart Fund ("JCHF")."

Third World will continue their summer tour with performances May 27 - June 1, in Tauranga, Auckland, Wellington and Napier, New Zealand, June 10th -11th, Fiji and June 25th - August 2nd in Europe. For more tour dates, please visit www.thirdworldband.com.
