The new lovers rock single "Call On Me", by reggae superstars Cherine and Chuck Fenda received an overwhelming show of support from fans and industry partners at a launch party held at the Village Blues Bar in Kingston on July 9, 2011.
"Call On Me" produced by Unga Notice for Desires Production is already garnering a lot of attention in the media. Judging from the positive response that the duo has received from supporters the single, "Call On Me" seems poised to be another hit .
The amazing Hiyah Grade Band along with other guest performers kept the fans entertained before the highly anticipated performance from the Dancehall Soul Queen, Cherine and Chuck Fenda "The Living Fire".
The Dancehall Soul Rebel was first onstage, sporting a hot new look and brought her usual charm to the audience. She displayed exquisite vocals and delivered a high energy performance with well received songs including "Make Up Sex", "Talk If Yuh Talking", and the Sly & Robbie produced hit "Rebel" which was performed with dancehall DJ Danielle DI.
Chuck Fenda then brought the fire to the stage and delivered a crowd-pleasing performance. His blazing energy and captivating lyrics satisfied the fans as he unleashed his hits such as "Gash Dem", "I Swear" and "Real Man".
After delivering spectacular solo performances, Cherine and Chuck Fenda took the stage together and gave the fans an exciting rendition of their hit single "Coming Over Tonight" followed by their new single "Call On Me".
The duo found the winning combination once more and officially launched their new lovers anthem "Call On Me", which is rapidly climbing the charts and is set for success on the local and international level. "Call On Me" will soon be available on iTunes and plans for a video are also in the pipeline.
