Veteran Deejay Pappa Biggy Says "Take Me Home"‏

Veteran dancehall artiste Papa Biggy has teamed up with South Florida based reggae artist Empress Uneek and her No Apology Band to produce his latest single titled Take Me Home. Papa Biggy said Take Me Home is a follow up to previously released singles Your Dreams and So Nice ft. Moni K, which both did well in the US and in Jamaica as they received a lot of airplay in both markets.

“This new single is a follow to two tracks that I released earlier this year. Both of these songs got a lot of support from DJs in Jamaica, the states and other places and really helped to signal my return to music scene in a serious way as a recording artist.”

He also said Take Me Home was done to air his concerns about the troubled times that we are living in.

“I really voice this tune because of all the things I see going on in the world right now, all over the world a lot of serious things are happening. There is too much war and crime all around and I would like all of this to stop so that love and peace will be the order of the day.”

Take Me home is available on itunes, Amazon, Emusic, myspace and nokia music online stores. Since its release it has been receiving rave reviews from a lot of music industry insiders, it is also enjoying heavy rotation on reggae programs in the US and Jamaica.

Pappy Biggy has also been very busy on the road, performing on events right across the United States. He recently did a series of shows with veteran reggae singer Errol Dunkley in Cincinnati, Ohio. Other events that he has performed on in recent times include the Caribbean Jerk Festival and Veteran Festivals in Connecticut. On August 16, he made an appearance at Toads place in New Haven Connecticut alongside King Yellowman, where he left the huge crowd begging for more.
