Charity Song Project “We Must Rise Again”




The people in Tohoku, Japan have been suffering in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit on March 11, 2011. The Japanese people have always supported reggae, and now reggae would give back to Japan by way of a charity song.

Japanese owned Diamond Edge Records along with artists like Bunny Rugs (Third World), Gyptian, Cherine Anderson, Lukie D, Bushman, Ghost, G-Whizz, Duane Stephenson, Chevaughn, Junior X, Ginjah and Anthony Que came together to record a single song. Norris Webb of Third World produced the track as a main producer.

The song will be available on iTunes, Amazon MP3 and ringer song web sites in Japan. All the sales from downloads will be donated to the Japanese earthquake victims through Japanese Red Cross.

Reggae Icon EVER-G To Visit Toronto Ahead of July 31st Show!


Reggae recording artist and Icon EVER-G will be visiting Toronto from June 23rd to 25th to do media and a meet and greet with fans in advance of his performance on July 31st at Lula Lounge.

Building on the momentum of his incredible achievements for the first half of 2011, EVER-G’s goal is to continue to interact with his fans on a personal level, while delivering the best in Reggae entertainment. “My fans have come to expect the best from me, and the best is what I’ll deliver; both at the meet and greet and at the performance,” said EVER-G by phone from Virginia.

In the summer of 2010, EVER-G released his 5th studio album entitled ‘Jah Love’ which has been well received by Reggae enthusiasts worldwide. The lead song on the album, also entitled “Jah Love” helped the artist earn the honor ‘Album of the Year’ at the 2011 Virginia Reggae Music Awards. In addition to the honor of Album of the year, EVER-G won the categories Single of the year and Favourite Artist.

On the performance circuit, EVER-G receives an increasing number of requests for his songs “Miss Beautiful” & “Life” (from the album Independence), “Mission” & “What’s Up With The World” (from the album Mission Part III) and “Pretty Lady” & “Son Of The Most High” (from the album World Peace).

JadaKiss Teams Up With Rising Superstar I-Octane‏


New York, NY - (June 17, 2011) - It is one of those rare magical moments when the rap world and the reggae world collide and creates a musical explosion that makes history. This time, it is rap sensation Jadakiss and Jamaican rising reggae superstar I-Octane that team up to present one incredible evening dubbed "I-Octane - JadaKiss and Friends".

Both artistes are known for their lyrical talent, unique vocals and hardcore performance and each has created their own style that transcends sub-genres and geography. "It is a pleasure for me to work with someone like Jadakiss who has really made a name for himself in the rap game,"I-Octane says.
