Reggae singer Dubkore is adamant that this year will be the year that he makes his musical break through. Since the beginning of the year he has been busy working on several projects including a complete a remix of his 2010 debut album titled Arrogant Man.
“This year is going be the year that Dubkore really gets out there musically in a big way. I have been doing my music for a while now, the seeds have been sewn, now it’s time to reap the fruits and I can tell that the harvest is near. I am currently working on several new projects, one them is a complete remix of my album, we have been very busy working on it with veteran engineer Errol Brown at Tuff Gong Studio.”
According to Dubkore when the remix is completed the album will have a completely different sound. “After the remix the album is going to have a different sound, we want it to have an international appeal. It’s going to have that real authentic reggae sound that the real reggae fans all over the world love,” said Dubkore.
Dubkore also said that he has a number of live appearances lined up for the rest of the year.
“I have a number of shows lineup for this year, I really plan to take the message and the music to the people this year, so I will be performing all over the place this year.
Dubkore’s next performancer will be on the lawns of the Philip Sherlock Center Thursday the 25th of February, when he performs on an event called Black as Cole. This event will be staged by the Black as Cole Band and will also feature other acts including Cen’C Love, Chronixx, Kabaka Pyramid and Omari.
