Reggae Artist, Elly Ess Returns with Two New Singles


Elly Ess is back with the release of two new singles, "Money Won't Change Me" and "So Single." The reggae/hip-hop artist has returned with a unique blend of dancehall, reggae, Hip Hop and R&B singles.

In 2009, he released his first single "More Money" alongside brother, artist and producer, Supah Shane. The single was featured on their EP, United We Stand available on iTunes and other digital outlets and received airplay on New York's Hot 97 on Massive B's show. Other singles released that received radio buzz were "Jamaican in New York" and "Our Father" featuring Yami Bolo.

Along with his brother, Supah Shane, the dynamic duo is credited with the following riddims, the Onward Riddim which features reggae artists, Capleton and Richie Spice, the Gangsta Gangsta Riddim with dancehall artists Mavado, Vybz Kartel, Aidonia, Munga, Bling Dawg, and more. Additionally, Elly Ess remade the 1987 international hit, "Bad Boys" featuring Vybz Kartel and hip-hop artist Jim Jones.

Back with a new outlook, the singjay, under his new label, COMG, released single "Money Won't Change Me" in early 2011 and released the video shortly thereafter. The video peaked at number five on Hype TV video charts. As result of the single's popularity, Elly Ess got the opportunity to collaborate with Hip Hop artist, French Montana and opened for Capleton at a show in Belize. In keeping with the momentum, Elly Ess released new single "So Single" featuring Sol.

Through a distribution deal with 21st Hapilos, both "Money Wont Change Me" and "So Single" is available on iTunes and other digital outlets. CEO of 21st Hapilos, Johnny Wonder, remarks "Working with Elly Ess is a pleasure because as a young independent artist he never stops trying to promoted and market himself. He is always on the grind and I want to help him push his vision."

2012 will be a pivotal year for Elly Ess. With the release of additional singles in the coming months and the production of "Don't Get Me Out" Riddim featuring various artists, Elly Ess seems poised to make this year his.
