Nanamous Breaks Through With "When Father God Calls You"

After many years of working to perfect his craft Gospel artist Howard Osbourne popularly known as Nanamous is at a point in his career where he feels that the time is right for him to achieve the success that has eluded him in the past. The talented singjay who originally hails from the Tredegar Park area of Spanish Town has been toiling to make a name for himself in the music biz since the age of thirteen.

“I started deejaying at age 10 years old my stage name then was Little Howie. I did my first record at age 13 called Bruck It Up. I started performing at school concerts (Barbecue, Fetes) and in the dancehall even sharing the stage with Yellow Man, Ninja Man, Major Worries, Lyrical Ugly Man and others back then. Now more than ever I think the time is right for me to really make a serious impact in the music business.”

Since those early days he has gone on to record a number of singles and three albums, Lifted To Another Level (2002) and Reloaded (2006) under the stage name Howard Jon, in 2011 he released Next Chapter under the Nanamous after becoming a born again Christian.

“My journey in the music business has been a long and very exciting one so far, I have recorded and released several songs and albums to date. At first I did secular, since I gave my life to Christ I have been doing Gospel music and this has been very fulfilling and rewarding in so many ways,” said the artist who is signed to Selah Muzik Productions in Atlanta.

After the many years of hard work in the music business Nanamous has finally gotten his long awaited breakthrough with his hit single titled When Father God Calls You. The single which was done in tandem with Jabez has brought the Atlanta based artist much attention in gospel music circles in the US and the Caribbean. Since its release late last year it has been receiving strong rotation, it has also peaked at number one the Atl Praise House.com Top Ten Charts.

The popularity of the song in Atlanta has also earned it a nomination in the upcoming Atlanta Caribbean Gospel Music Awards in the Best Combination category.
Nanamous recently delivered the message to fans in Florida and Guyana and is currently preparing for a series of upcoming performances in Canada and Ghana. Also in the works for him is the completion of his mix tape titled God Stars which will consist of several new tracks in addition to tracks from Next Chapter.
