Cherine Featured on The Africa Channel

Dancehall Soul singer-songwriter Cherine made her debut on The Africa Channel on January 25th, 2013. The talented singer was highlighted on a thirty minute music program called Muziki Ni ,which means 'music is' in Sawhili . The show featured Cherine as host, taking viewers through her music videos, inspirations and the songwriting process for some of her most popular hits.

Viewers were treated to videos directed by artist including the smash hit " Haffi Come Back" , "Kingston State of Mind" as well as "Make Up Sex" and her hit duet with Chuck Fenda "Coming Over" among others. Producers of the show reached out to her management team, Zlink Entertainment, Inc. in late 2012, expressing interest to feature the young singer on their show. The show was shot on location on Hellshire Beach in late 2012. Cherine's Muziki Ni episode is set to repeat on The Africa Channel throughout the month of February. Cherine continues to expand her brand and is keeping busy with a hectic live show scheduled for February and March. According to her manager Patrick Lindsay "the plan is to take her music to the streets and Cherine enjoys meeting her dancehallSOULdiers, so we are looking forward to connecting with her true supporters, they are the ones who continue to inspire her". 

Ever the consummate entertainer, Cherine, dressed as a umpire with her dancers outfitted in Superbowl - themed costumes rocked the YVAs this past Saturday with her current hit "Haffi Come Back". As part of her promotional plans she will perform on February 13th at the National Stadium Car Park and will follow with an intimate performance at the Jamaica Pegasus on Valentines Day. Cherine is one of the featured acts on RJRs Cross Country promotional Tour, and will make stops in over 40 cities across the 14 parishes of Jamaica starting on February 8th.
